STAR Streak Air Defense System

Bharat Dynamics Limited, a govt. of India enterprises and Thales, a French multinational company has signed an agreement to jointly work on the new defense system.

STAR Streak is a short range surface to air missile, travels at the speed of Mach 3 which is three times of speed of sound. Minimum range of this system is 0.3 km and maximum range is 7 km.
